We’re excited to introduce Ntheng Kangas to the Coventures community. Ntheng is a strategy-to-execution leader, clean energy compliance and systems expert, and the Founder and CEO of Värdevia Oy. With over 15 years of experience across energy, engineering, and consulting, including a former specialisation role at a NYSE-listed global chemicals and energy major, she helps organisations turn complex transition goals into measurable results.

Turning Compliance into Investable Operations

Ntheng’s sweet spot is moving teams from compliance confusion to audit-ready clarity. She aligns sustainability standards enabled by international management systems to turn compliance into investor-confident, offtaker-ready operations.

From Group HQ to Clean Energy Compliance and Execution

At Group HQ, Ntheng served as Senior Manager, operating across complex oil and gas refinery value chains and cross-border supply chains. Appointed during the company’s 2020 business transformation programme, her mandate was to turn strategy into executable operational plans and embed the just energy transition (JET) agenda in the commercial engine. As Initiative Lead for the B2B programme within the net-zero-by-2050 transformation, she coordinated cross-functional delivery and customer programmes. Her work included contributing to the build-out of marketing intelligence capability, supporting pricing and margin governance within competition law guardrails, steering profitability, investment case modelling, directing project management, and preparing for high-stakes negotiations with C-suite customers in the mining, transport, agriculture, and aviation sectors. Early decarbonisation work set the course for her to focus her practice fully on clean energy markets.
